Thanks, Lissa! That first one with the grey tree trunks reflected in the water was sheer serendipity. I was walking Domino where the road crosses over this stream, and with Domino busy tugging on the leash and jerking my arm, I had to simply point the camera quickly and hope. I intended to get the trees that line the stream but snapped only the reflection instead, and it was a bit blurry ... but the more I look at it (I have it as wallpaper on my computer) 1it's actually becomeing my favorite because of the painting-like quality of it. Photography is a funny thing--I could have tried and tried to get that effect "on purpose" and never managed it.
