LOL. Yeah...I don't even know what's up with this wimping out on things, just because the windchill could get as low as 60 degrees below zero, and frostbite can occur in 5-10 minutes of exposure on bare skin. (My brother seriously does think that church being canceled was ridiculously over-cautious. XD)
The buying-all-the-bread thing is kind of a funny phenomenon...although I can't really recall seeing much of that happening here. Mostly, everyone interviewed on the news is just like, "YAY. I'm a teacher, and school is canceled, so I get to sit at home and watch Netflix on Monday."
And--at least some of us--are still eating ICE CREAM. Which makes me kind of proud, even if I'm totally with you about steak being a yummeh thing for a cold winter day. ;D
