I don't know what I may get. Hubby's not home from work yet, but we had pretty much decided our Florida trip was good for Valentine's too. So if he does anything, it'll be low key. And I'm trying to lose weight, so I hope he doesn't get me any candy! Flowers, however, will be accepted with glee. :)
Happy Valentine's though our Valentine's Day is called Lovers' Day, and is on June 12th. It's never been that popular here though because it's not rooted in our cultural memory like Valentine's Day is for you. It's mostly a made up date so people will spend money and dine out. LOL
A most wondrous choice indeed and a great Twosday! I hope you got some lovely flowers.
I'm convinced it's pretty much a made-up holiday here as well, by the greeting card industry in league with restauranteurs and florists! LOL Hubby and I don't usually do much for it. But it is a nice day to think about loved ones, whether they're lovers, friends or family. :)
