Do you know the story behind the Cardinal's new "mascot" (not that they're abandoning Fredbird the Redbird)? During one of the games a squirrel streaked right across the batter's box while our batter was hitting and it sort of became a rallying point. So now squirrel references abound. :)
LOL no I did not. So, that's where your crazy squirrel comes from. When I read it I imagined it like a cartoon character grinning widely with saucer like eyes. *giggle*
