Very nice expansion of that character... he's always intrigued me, as well. I often wonder if he met up with Aragorn at some point after the battle was over. And I wonder how much Aragorn's words sustained him, and you did a lovely job of showing that. Thanks for giving me the link. :)
It's such a heartwarming moment before the battle... I think even if you're not a big Aragorn fan, it's still moving because it touches on such universal themes of natural fear and uncertainty and encouragement and hope.
Of course, if you *are* a big Aragorn fan... ! *g*
