I feel much safer now. He won't let anything scary get me today!

The Wednesday Warrior is on duty!

Somehow my hardest college days always happen to be Wednesday. For instance, today I am freaking out about having to give a presentation/lead a class discussion in twenty minutes. And then I come see the Aragorn-a-Day, and I feel so much better! All I need to remember to do is channel the Wednesday Warrior. Whooah!

Yay!! I'm glad the A-a-Day helps you out. Sometimes I worry that folks are getting tired of it... well, that is anyone besides me, Liz and estelcontar. *g* We're such diehard freaks I'm sure we never will. But it's good to know others are still enjoying it as much as I am. :)

No, most definitely not getting tired of our daily dose of Aragorn!

Hope your day went well, Suz.

No, most definitely not getting tired of our daily dose of Aragorn!

I was pretty positive you weren't. *g*

I don't think it was. :)

Indeed not, as proven also in my favourite parody.

Oh, that one is the Best.Parody.Ever! I laughed and laughed... and still do. *g* It was good therapy after trying to watch the World Cup with the mute on.

It's always good for a laugh - the only problem is that I spent most of the day humming 'They're taking the hobbits to Isengard'...

That one's a different parody than the vuvuzela one you linked... but yes, I have to avoid it because that song *does* get into one's head!

From: [identity profile] mrowe.livejournal.com
Yes, but the vuvuzela one uses their music...

From: [identity profile] cairistiona7.livejournal.com
Ah... I guess the arrangement is so overshadowed by the vuvuzela it doesn't really stick in my head like the other parody does.

So there is a point to vuvuzelas - I just don't think they're going to catch on as earworm remover somehow...

LOL... no, I doubt they will.

Me neither. *g*

This is the best version I've seen of this picture, and guess what, I've just exercised my snitching finger.

I'm sure the presentation/class discussion was a total success. Suzll.

Me neither. *g*

Somehow I didn't think so. :) And I'm not surprised you exercised your snitching finger. I hope you don't strain your knuckles! *g*

I won't. Snitching is good exercise for my knuckles. *g*

When I see this pic I think how wonderful it would be to have seen Viggo play Robin Hood. *sigh*

I'm a solid fan of Michael Praed as Robin in the 80's BBC tv series, but that would have been interesting...

I've never seen that version of Robin Hood... I may have to see if it's available on DVD here in the US.

I think it is.

'warning', only the first two seasons are Michael Praed, s3 and 4 are Jason Connery (not bad either but not quite the same)

Viggo.. in tights? **hee *hee**

I was thinking less of the Errol Flynn/Men in Tights style Robin Hood and more along the quasi-historical versions, like Russell Crowe's or even Kevin Costner's, who though atrocious in the role, looked rather nice and manly and blessedly non-tightsy. LOL

I'm still waiting for the perfect Robin Hood film. Which would star Viggo. *g*
