Mind you, it took me 4 tries before LJ finally let me post, but I did finally manage it. It goes down for a few minutes then comes back up and goes back down. I do wonder what the problem is.
LOL... hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. I saw a tweet from them that suggested deleting your LJ cookies, since that worked for some people. You might try that, I guess?
Cookies are basically little tiny programs that websites put on your computer to make websites load faster. Some cookies are great, like the ones that fill in your password, but others can clog your computer. If you use Mozilla 5.0, you can go to the top corner where the orange "Firefox" tab is, click on "options" and then "options" again, and you'll see a window with various tabs. Click on the "Privacy" tab and you'll see in the middle of the window an option to "remove individual cookies". Click on it and then scroll through the cookies until you find the "LiveJournal" ones and delete those.
I could also give you the how-to for Internet Explorer but I'd have to look it up because I don't use IE. :)
Well phooey... but you know, I don't think it's really anyone's cookies that are the problem. LJ's down again for me completely this morning. They still haven't said what the problem is, if they have, they've said it on the LJ maintenance page, which, um, no one can access! *sigh*
Augh, I can get through far enough to *read* your Tuesday Ramblings entry, but apparently actually commenting is too much for the server to handle :P.
So I'm just going to comment here!
Oh, I do love hearing about your writing adventures! I've had writers block for about a year now, haha, so it's lovely to see someone whose muse hasn't abandoned them!
And I misses teh chatter too! It stink when our main form of communication goes haywire...
I'm so sorry your muse abandoned you! Humph. Silly muse. Maybe when you're done with college it will tiptoe back in and apologize. For me, it really helps to have someone to bounce ideas off of. Or lack of ideas, which was the case this time. Liz gave me a brilliant suggestion and now things are flowing again.

At least we have DW! So long as people remember to check it. LOL I confess I don't unless LJ goes down and even then it takes me a while before the slap-the-forehead-d'oh!!! moment comes and I come over here.
