I have missed LJ like you have no idea. My computer's gotten nailed w/a virus I think, so combine that w/me still being on Dial Up Hell and LJ just will not come up on my at home 'puter anymore.
Which is driving me nuts. Especially the last six months, as my Dad's health has taken a nose dive, but I'll get into that tomorrow w/an Update to everyone through my own page.
This and all of you and being able to chat through MSN Messenger w/a friend of mine in Southern Ontario has been two of my main coping/venting strategies, so to have lost both of them starting w/the MSN last summer and now LJ...To say I'm a bit stressed out is beyond an understatement!!!
Am at my sister's w/access to the wonderful thing that is High Speed, so taking advantage while I can. As I said, I'll update things tomorrow, but....Sigh....I have missed being able to "talk" things out w/everyone.
I was able to access LJ that one time back in the Spring, but after that...No such luck!!
Anyway...I've been wanting to pop the Trilogy in the DVD player the last two weeks, but w/everything going on w/getting ready for the Holidays and Dad and...Hasn't happened yet, but it will. It's been too long between viewings for me and if I don't do it soon, it'll be National Figure Skating Championship time on both sides of our shared border and you know what most of my free time will be spent doing then, right? ;o)
I do so adore that scene and Viggo and Sean so nailed it. I bawl like a baby everytime I watch it.
As I said, I'll do an update tomorrow sometime, but until then...(((((HUGS)))))
Hey, stranger!! Gosh, I'm sorry you've had such a hard time with technology... it's a great thing but boy, it can sure let you down. I hope you can eventually get things sorted out so you don't have to rely on your sister's Internet service.
