What a nice, companionable scene. :) I used to not like Boromir so much, but Sean Bean's portrayal was so incredible, it really won me over...and it makes me sad that he and Aragorn never really had the chance to be comrades-in-arms. :/
Same here. I loved Bean's portrayal tremendously, though. That death scene sealed it for me--I now imagine their reunion beyond the Dark Sea is a very joyful one, and I imagine they probably spend a fair amount of time together making up for lost time. *g*
Yay, Boromir is in the picture today! :))) Sorry, dear, but I am a bigger Boromir- than Aragorn-fan, so my attention is focused on the left half of today's picture. :) *fangirl's giggle*
Oh, I guess we simply haven't come to that topic, so I haven't mentioned it earlier. Yep, I am a Boromir fan, especially after the movies. :D I have written several small Boromir-lives-AU-stories which were posted on my ffnet account. I also write a novel-length Boromir-lives-story, but only in Croatian (it would take too much time and effort to transtate it, I can't o it).
P.S. It is difficult to type with one hand only. *laughing* Tommy is sleeping in my lap and is lying over my other hand. :)
I LOVE that scene! Once Boromir forgot about his pride and accepted Aragorn they were so great together. It's so sad to know that Boromir and Aragorn will never return to Minas Tirith together. *sigh*

Date: 2010-12-06 09:35 pm (UTC)I also love Bean's Boromir. And he and Viggo just clicked together. Hence, that outstandingly moving deatch scene.
