They really did give Aragorn short shrift in that way. We never see him get so much as a bandaid anywhere in the movies. He just has to get up and get on with things, poor guy.

I once played Scrooge's housekeeper in a stage adaptation of The Christmas Carol. A more horrendous display of English accents has never since been heard on stage or screen. *g*
