The name Missouri comes from an Illini Indian word meaning "Land of Big Canoes" and I think after the last two days of rain, every resident should be issued one. We had 5 inches last night in a storm that lasted about an hour. There were only two small puddles in the basement so I count it a win as far as potential disaster goes. The front yard is looking like a marsh.
