I've been thinking of her, too! I think it looks like the main landfall will be south of where she is, but still...having been through a few hurricanes in Florida where we weren't even that close to the landfall? Not so fun. :( I hope she checks in!

Yes, I'm not so much worried about landfall in her area but the flooding rains that will come after. This storm is going to sit on top of that part of Texas, including Houston, for *days*. They're saying some areas could get 50 inches of rain. That's more than Missouri gets in an entire year.

Scary stuff. :(((((
