:D Happy birthday to Bucky! Aww, how could Natasha say no to that face, especially on his birthday? Of course she couldn't.

(As our own tribute to Bucky today, Nef and I made pancakes for super-late-lunch and they were the most amazing pancakes ever. *g*)

Ahhhh, your pancakes sound so GOOD. I tried to have good pancakes, but it was a comedy of errors. We went to IHOP and I ordered the "build your own" pancake breakfast, so I was supposed to get buttermilk pancakes, plus bacon, eggs & hashbrowns (I was hungry, okay??) Well, they brought me my eggs, bacon, hash browns... and sausage and ham... and no pancakes???? Basically they gave me the 2x2x2 platter sans pancakes. (Fortunately they didn't charge extra for all the extra meat). The waiter assured me the pancakes were coming, so I went ahead and ate what I had, figuring "okay, pancakes for dessert". Far too much time passed... I could have made them and cooked them myself twice over... before he finally brought my pancakes. They were very hot, at least, so I knew they'd just come off the griddle and hadn't sat under a heat lamp all that time, but... the top one wasn't done in the center and I only got two because of course they'd mistakenly given me the 2x2x2 instead of the build-your-own pancake platter (which comes with 3 pancakes). *facepalm*

So the pancakes were kind of a fail (IHOP, how do you mess up PANCAKES??), but the rest of the food was good.

But now I still want pancakes. :/

Oh noooooo. How can IHOP fail that hard at pancakes? That... should not even be possible. D:

We actually ended up using a new recipe for ours this time, one Nef found that was supposed to be extra fluffy, and it is definitely officially the one we're doing from now on.

(BTW, with the weird email thing earlier: I sent a reply to the email where you said you'd gotten it a bunch of times, but I don't know if your email's blocking me now so I'm not sure if you'll have gotten it. I only sent the message once, but I've got like... fifteen failure to deliver messages on it? I have no idea what's going on, but it's not acting like a normal "hacked email spamming everyone" issue. Seems to be just that one email that it keeps wantint to send to just you, over and over. I've changed my password and checked into everything I can, and I think I've got it stopped for now. Let me know if you keep getting weird/repeated stuff from my address, though?)

No doubt the "no pancake houses" rule is because they're usually "all you can eat" and they'd be there all day and all night filling up Bucky's hollow legs.

Now there's a thought. LOL It probably does take a long time to fill him up. But gosh, where are these all-you-can-eat ones?? Around here you pay for every pancake you get. :/

(Also, it's actually comics canon that Bucky prefers seedy diners, bars and pancakes houses... so that's probably the real reason for Nat to lay down some firm ground rules. She's probably tired of her shoes sticking to the floor when he takes her out to eat. XD)
