Having to take a short break from Aragorn's journey because for whatever reason, LJ is balky and not letting me upload new pics to my scrapbook --it just sits and sits and sits telling me the page is loading and then nothing ever happens.  Humph.  Hate LJ glitches.  Hopefully it will behave better tomorrow.

So... to tide us over until tomorrow:

I have no idea what's up, if it's an LJ problem or a problem on my end with my ISP (although I'm having not issues with other web pages loading). And I haven't bothered looking into it any further at this point. Hopefully by tomorrow it will be back to normal. :)

It's probably not you. The LJ Status Page says:

"LiveJournal may be unresponsive or slow to load due to database problems we're experiencing. Our Operations staff is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible."

You better wave it some more because I still can't get to my "upload to scrapbook". It's just a good thing I already have 400+ pics of Aragorn to pull from already uploaded! *g* Unfortunately, though, most of those won't create complete scenes for his journey... hence needing the upload feature TO START WORKING!! *saying it really loud so that LJ will hear*

It did for a bit, yes! LOL But now it's back to going slooooooow, if at all. I uploaded a few pictures but gave up and decided to work on my WIP, which was also going sloooooow. I was trying my hardest to force myself to write the prelim stuff before I let myself do the action scene, but that wasn't working. So I've been busy writing a big troll fight. Whee!! Young Halbarad's having a time of it and there's still worse to come. *grins with evil delight* I'll still eventually have to go back and do the nitty gritty set-up stuff but I'll do that later. :)

If LJ's slowness causes you to work on your WIP I wouldn't mind LJ staying that way for a while longer! *g* That chapter sounds so enticing! Poor Halbarad, though - battling trolls doesn't sound like much fun (at least for the characters)! :D

Yeah, poor Halbarad's having a rough time... he's the victim of my desire to write a troll story that didn't involved Aragorn or Legolas. I don't know how it'll go over, since it's not Aragorn-centric, but I'm having fun regardless. *g*

LJ has been driving me nuts recently as it is so slow. Even posting comments can take three or four minutes which is ridiculous. I hope the problem is sorted soon so Aragorn can resume his journey. Time is short, after all!

Fangirling is not only allowed but encouraged on my LJ. *g* As is ranting at LJ itself on behalf of the King.

I definitely love the blue of his eyes here, and to me, it still suits canon even though he's supposed to be grey-eyed. I've found most grey-eyed people's eyes fluctuate between green, blue and grey, depending on mood, lighting and clothing. I always imagined these grey-eyed Numenoreans' eyes sometimes looking blue more than grey because of that.
