Christmas music, day 3

This one's a little different... but very timely and reflects my own state of mind perfectly these days.

And the lyric video, because if you're like me, sometimes it's hard to understand lyrics in music.

Bit of background: Alex Boye' is a British-born US citizen, son of immigrants from Nigeria, and a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. If you listen to his music, you'll find a message of tolerance and hope that I think both the US and the world in general sorely needs.

Holy crap! What a Succotash dish that is!!!

Not sure what to think of the song; the music moves nicely, the lyrics... not sure. Some of it really touches, but when you bring in bullets to the mix you lose me. It's his world view I guess and not mine. :(

I don't read the song as being he desires to shoot anyone... the bullets are in his hand, not a gun, therefore implying that shooting is not the answer.

Anyway, hopefully it's food for thought, if nothing else.
