cairistiona: (read any good books lately?)

Another Sullivan beta read is in the books, so to speak! And it was very entertaining. I know the final version will be very, very good just because this draft is very, very good.

I wish I could say more, but I can't or I'd have to kill all of you. *sigh*

Now to get back into Bucky-in-Wakanda mode....

Thank you! I don't know if it was just exceptionally well written or I'm simply getting better through repeat practice, but it went much easier for me this time. :)

Oh man, it's so full of feels. So.full. Bucky and how very human and adjusted (when not triggered!!) he is now just about killed me. I wasn't expecting him to have got himself into such a good place that he could give a fruit vendor a shy smile like that. Nor give Sam sass and *almost* break into a smile when Sam gives *him* sass about moving the car seat up.... I really hope for epic comedic moments between him and Sam in future movies.

I was simply not prepared for that many small smiles. Nor for the tears in his eyes when Tony watched the video of the Soldier killing his parents. I mean, I *hoped* for all that, showing the sorrowful, gentle Bucky and the ruthless fighter as well, but wow. Yeah. It was awesome.

*dead*

RIP metal arm, though. :(( I'm gonna miss that, although I bet they give him a similar one again. It's too much an iconic part of him (along with the flowing locks) not to.

\o/ Go you! I'm sure your feedback will help make that final product even more excellent.

I hope the transition back to your own writing goes well!

I've got my fingers crossed I can pick up the threads of the story and carry on as though I never stopped. I'm rereading the whole thing today to get me back in Bucky mode.

Thank you! I did enjoy it. Immensely at times. There was at least one chapter toward the end that, at the end, made me quietly push away from the computer and go lie down...

It was such a good one. By the time he's done with the edits from the beta reader feedback and from whatever editorial feedback he gets, it'll be grand, I expect. :) This one had a lot of connections to Royce & Hadrian's era, which made it ever better than Age of Myth, which had *some* connections but they weren't so obvious at that point. Now it's starting to get to that "Oh, so THAT'S how..." stage. :)
