Ooooo, so pretty and cozy! :D It has definitely been fall here for the last week or so - nighttime temperatures getting down into the 30s, leaves changing, that shift in the way the whole outdoors feel... I've been just revelling in it.

Seriously, it's back up into the upper 80s this week, with humidity. And we had well over 2 inches of rain Friday afternoon, so everything is even more soggy than it already was, which means mold is rampant. (We *never* got to the Aug/Sept dry spell that turns the grass crispy and brown... the lawn stayed spring green all summer.) Which means I'm still stuck inside mostly, because even with meds it's awful.

Oh well. Probably just as well I have plenty of work to do on the 'puter, between finishing up the beta and getting back to writing on my WIP. But man, I'm so ready for that first good cold snap. :/

It is GLORIOUS. I so wish we could share - I have been so sick of the sticky, hot, nasty summer weather. I guess this is Minnesota's way of making up for the fact that we're usually still buried under snow when everyone else is talking about the lovely spring flowers. *g*

But ooooooo, glad to hear that the beta'ing is coming along well and you're getting back to your own writing! :D

Heh, "getting back to my own writing" might be a stretch. I've sketched out two possible beginnings to the new chapter, not sure which will "stick". Maybe neither but I can't stop at the moment to mull over it like I want to. However, I just finished Michael's chapter 22, so that leaves me 11 more chapters to go...

Ours has come. We dropped 15 degrees and its just PERFECT now to go rambling and mushrooming and apple-gathering... (those look scrumptious)

It's such a relief to have NORMAL temperatures.
