I'm sitting here listening to Kongos' new single, Take It From Me and grinning like a fool. It's so good, so classic Kongos.

I'll have to go on to iTunes and take a listen. Two of their songs from the previous album are on my workout shuffle and I love it when they come up in the rotation. I have you to thank for their music!

They really are, aren't they?? I know Kongos intends for it to be a song about tamping down your own ego, but it also fits a brainwashed assassin trying to tamp down his murderous impulses!

Sometimes I wonder if my brain is now simply hardwired to apply every angsty lyric I hear to Bucky regardless of intended meaning... but in this case, the whole "war with oneself" theme definitely fits.
