I just hate that I have to wait until June 2! I need this to fill in the last of winter's blah days... but I guess I can use it on rainy summer days or save it for next winter.
I saw another couple "grown up" Tolkien coloring books on Amazon, but as far as I can tell, they're not movie-based like this one. I can't wait to get my hot little handses on this one!
I've been thinking about getting one of those mandala coloring books, because when I was a teen I had something similar and it was very fun. And when Dink was very small, I really enjoyed coloring together with her. It's a nice, relaxing activity for me. Never thought to actually look for LOTR coloring books, though!
I checked for some on Amazon and yes, some are very simplistic, more for kids than grown-ups. This one looks quite detailed, though! I'm thinking it might also be a fun shading exercise... I won't have to worry much about coming up with the general shapes but can just concentrate on bringing them into 3-Dish life.
