LOL Although I'm not so sure I'd want Iron Man spitting out my coffee... my version of fannish household geekery would be more along this line, though, as I imagine this to be a quite fitting Elven chamber... I've been in this room, it's in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and it breathes Imladris if anything ever did... I'm sure some of Tolkien's elven ideas must have been influenced by Art Nouveau which he doubtlessly must have seen here and there.

Those *would* be fun in your little kitchen! (Although I don't if you'd want this one if you don't like the one George Clooney hawks... I think they're both Keurig-type coffee makers, not drip or percolators. I have a Keurig and I love it, but I know they're not for everyone).

I told Ellynn I'd be constantly hitting the defrost to let Han out of his misery... and ruining all my food. So I better not get the fridge, but boy is it epic!

Yes, I've seen those. Didn't give me the same 'ooooh wow' feeling as I'm not into Dr. Who but I thought they were very clever! It's so nice that these days you can indulge in whatever geekery you want and it's no longer considered ridiculous. Well, except maybe by incredibly pretentious and stuffy types.
