20 inches in the middle of the front yard, and we're halfway in. Higher drifts in the backyard. *sigh*

Yes, it's supposed to continue until the wee hours of tomorrow morning. Today is supposed to be windier, and great chance of power outages. I've already shoveled the front walkway and sidewalk (required by city ordinance) figuring it's easier to shovel 20" twice than 40" all at once!

My mind is truly boggled at the amount of mayhem this storm is unleashing. You have my complete sympathy!

That's a good place to be. Especially if he has a snow shovel. Will this storm cross the pond to pester you?

It might do so as an ordinary storm (assuming it either maintains windspeeds or strengthens again at some point), but so far I haven't seen any forecasts of where it might go.

Hard to say because of the drifts, but probably about 2 feet. I've been living at work for the past 36 hours and probably won't go home for another 24. Hopefully there won't be flooding by then...

Ugh. *hugs* I'll keep my fingers crossed nothing floods (although with that much snow, it's a worry, isn't it).
