Most definitely. It's a rare man that I think looks amazing completely shaven, though I do like that men are comfortable doing that now instead of wearing dreadful toupees or using combovers to hide their bald spot. And there are men who look dreadful with long hair.

Aragorn, however, is not one of them.

It's a fanfic joke... LOTR fic, especially on fanfiction.net, is clogged with stories where the writer inserts herself into the Fellowship as a "10th walker", usually as an Elf who Aragorn or Legolas falls in love with. To me, Aragorn's hair could be a character all on its own, so... 10th walker. ;)
