Yes, I'm spamming y'all with posts today, but I ran across this article about AMC theaters here in the US:

AMC Theaters Screening Star Wars: The Force Awakens for Autism & Special Needs Families

"At the Sensory Friendly showings, AMC "turns the lights up, turns the sound down," and encourages guests stand up, move around, and even shout and sing and speak along with the films."

I've never heard of our local AMC doing this, but I'll have to keep my eye out. I've several RL friends with autistic children who might be interested in something like this.
