LOL *hugs* Siljan once "met" a swan in this fashion (without the comforting presence of a dog, too), he said since then he knows how ghost stories come to be. He was rather pale and shaking when he came back in, too...

LOL... fortunately I wasn't startled to the 'pale and shaking' point, but it did make Domino and I both suddenly freeze and look up. Pepper was out there with us and she looked ready to climb the tree and take it on! Brave kitty!
