We're going to see SW:TFA this morning, hopefully. Looking forward to it, but I hope it doesn't fill me with TOO many feels, because I do *not* have room in my life to dive into the SW fandom. Tolkien and Captain America are enough, thank you!

I did like it, very much, and cried at that last scene (and at another earlier scene) and felt very much like I was 12 again, which was my hope! It hit hard in the feels but didn't give me the urge to plunge into that fandom, which is... kind of a relief because I realize I've a foot in three fandoms--forgot about The Martian, which is tickling my brain with plot Martians.

But yeah, JJ Abrams hit this one out of the park. Amazing film.

I loved it and thankfully it hasn't made me want to dive headlong into fandom, so *whew*. LOL But really it was a grand and glorious return to the original SW trilogy and went a loooooong way toward eradicating the horrible taste in my mouth that the prequel trilogy left.
