Time for the last little bit of the kitchen:
I think I left off with the stuff under the sink, so skipping the boring dishwasher, here's a little slim cabinet where I store baking sheets and cutting boards:

The small drawer above it:

I don't especially like having the measuring cups on the opposite side of the kitchen from all the rest of the baking things, but it just worked out that this drawer was perfect for them. And it's not like the kitchen is so massive that it makes it all that inconvenient. A matter of walking about 3 steps there and back again!
Upper cabinet, with the 'fancy' plates that I use mostly for holidays, plus various miscellaneous household stuff like light bulbs, flashlights, batteries, pet meds, etc. I call this cabinet, especially the right hand side, Mount Midoriyama (for those familiar with American Ninja Warrior) because it's the least accessible cabinet, being over the corner where the breakfast bar meets the counter. I have to get a step stool to get to the top shelves and anything in the back of even the bottom shelf. I knew when we designed the kitchen that area wouldn't be very convenient... but then I don't have to get things in or out of it very often. Oh, and those are cubbies (partially cut off in the photo) underneath, where I keep my small cookbooks, appliance manuals and we sort the daily mail.

Top drawer of the breakfast bar/peninsula holds office supply stuff:

It seems odd having so many scissors but it's amazing how often they go wandering to other parts of the house, never to be seen again. I imagine when Dink moves out, she can take some of the extras with her, as well as some of the duplicate items that I consolidated from my parents, like the extra stapler and staple removers.
The big deep drawer, where all the everyday plates and bowls live:

I would have thought keeping such things in drawers would be inconvenient and not the best use of space, but honestly, this is one of my favorite surprises about this kitchen. A drawer works really well for these, far easier to access and put away than a shelf.
Bottom drawer, which holds all the household tools:

Hubby has a far more extensive collection of tools out in the garage... these are just for quick little repairs inside. And why we have soooo many tiny little screwdrivers, I'm not sure. I think for a lot of years, my parents would invariably get hubby a set as a stocking stuffer, forgetting each year that they'd already given him a set. And some of those are for computer/smartphone repair work. It's a little astounding how many different tips you need for stuff like that.
You've seen the bookcase at the end of the peninsula, so I won't post another pic of it, but you haven't seen the little 'secret' cabinet under the peninsula on the dining room side:

The cabinetmaker put a door and shelf in what would have been a wasted corner, because from the kitchen side, there's no access. I keep miscellaneous extra cleaning supplies and the odd paper-goods products (like a bag full of plastic cutlery saved from take-out meals) in there.
That's it, that's the whole thing! Plus or minus clutter and the detritus of daily living. Right now, for example, there's a sinkful of dirty dishes because I've been lazy this week (legit reason, though: mild case of bronchitis that has me dragging a bit). And I've had to do some paperwork on my father's estate, so there's piles of records and notes all over the breakfast bar. All that mess is easily cleaned up, though. I'll probably get to it all today (the dishes definitely; the paperwork... eh, who knows. I'm having to make tons of phone calls to insurance companies and waiting on call backs etc etc etc. You know how that can go--it feels like it will become a permanent part of the kitchen!)
