In honor of what I want to do to the TV this morning because my kid, who usually sleeps until noon, is awake and has horrible music playing and is trying to actually talk to me before I've had my cup of coffee...

That is what I'd like to do to that untrained nasty dog in the back street neighbors yard. Non-stop barking for 4 weeks and finally getting PD and SO to take it seriously. *sigh*

We need a hero to kill the warg! *grins*

As for kids and TV, only recourse is to unplug it. haha How kids can do that now days! I was in highschool before I had ready access to a TV. okay, stone age, but really!!!!! @.@

Barking dogs and their oblivious owners are the bane of living within earshot of anyone. :P (That and loud parties.)

*heh* In my day... here there weren't even tv broadcasts in the morning except on weekends (Saturday morning cartoons, and I remember them being new; Sunday morning some church service, Open University-like broadcasts and political parties).

I certainly never had a tv in my room (less than half the kids in school did), and my parents didn't have colour tv until the year I went to uni (1986) and was given the old b/w set.

Yup know that well. I had to borrow the small b&w tv to watch PBS shows for classes. Folks got a big b&w around 1967 I think. Then finally a colour one by the time I was in college around 71. I didn't own even a b&w one until 1975! Got addicted to late night movies. Saw real cartoons for the first time in my life (not just the ones in the theatre or on "kids" TV in San Francisco). LOL
