Can you imagine my disappointment when, in canon, Legolas did NOT say he was not afraid of mortal dead?
It seemed so natural!

And Aragorn, holy cow. Determined NOT to be afraid or to be turned aside in his personal quest.

What a pair!

There were several of things I was really disappointed weren't in canon, that being one of them.

Determined NOT to be afraid or to be turned aside in his personal quest.

Much is made about him being a living, breathing symbol of hope, but he's every bit as much a superlative example of grim determination!

How interesting that when I come looking for you again, I find you with a screencap of Aragorn about to enter the Paths of the Dead! Extremely fitting for the news I have to share.

You've probably forgotten you ever gave me permission to podcast *Bear It For Me Yet Awhile* - but it is finally done this evening and I'd love to be able to send it to you, since I don't have it up anywhere yet and can't send a link, but I can't find your email address.

You can catch up with me either on my LJ page or you can reach me at lotrauthorntraining at yahoo dot come.

:) Sorry it took so long to get this done! It was an event-filled summer.

Oh yay!! I hadn't forgotten, actually. :D And that pic is fortuitously timed, isn't it.

I keep my email hidden on LJ, since my blog is mostly public, so I'll email you... can't wait to give it a listen!!
