Your comments are all so hilarious. :D  RL has got a wee bit busy with this being the last few days before Dink goes back to school, plus my elderly father is having a little (hopefully little) downturn in his health, which may require more doctors and the like (though praying not anything... more. *sigh*). So if I'm a little AWOL, that's why.

But in the meantime... it's Twosday. :)

*hugs* Thanks so much. The visit with the cardiologist clinic went fine this morning, so we know that his heart is doing well. Whatever's going on is because of the kidneys. But he was feeling just fine today, not so fatigued, so there's that, too. Hopefully it's just a little bobble and things will level out and be okay. *fingers crossed*

And I swear, I *will* get to your story. I can't believe how non-stop busy I've been since you sent it. (Or, I guess I can, really, it being the week before school starts, but still... jeez.)

And no worries at all! I definitely know how that feels--you think you've got the busy under control and then even more stuff piles on. (I might send you one extra scene though, if I finish it tonight--it'll put the wordcount at an even 10,000 and then the second section will be 85% complete instead of 50% complete!)

I'm sorry to hear about your father and that you're so busy. I hope he will be better soon and things going easier for you! *hugs*

And I love those screenshots. The first one shows me in a surprising way - for me at least - how similar those two look here... and it also looks a wee bit like a beard length contest. *g*

Thank you... he's seen his regular doctor (not his kidney specialist yet) and that doctor seems to think the higher number on the lab test isn't anything to be too concerned with yet, as it's a number he's had several times in the past. I expect if the number goes higher, it will be a concern, but at least for the moment, we're breathing a wee bit easier. He sees his kidney doctor on Monday, so it will be interesting to see what she thinks. His old doctor retired about a month ago and she's never seen my dad, so... it will all be interesting, I guess.

And if it's sheer length... Gandalf wins (though the way Aragorn's hair falls it almost makes him look like he has one of those awful long beards that are becoming the rage here in the US. Ugh!)
