Yay! I confess that this morning I wondered if everyone might think this is getting a little old... especially given that the punchline today will likely go over the heads of those who haven't seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier (or read the comic book).
Yay! :D I'm currently working my way through the Brubaker bring-Bucky-back-from-the-dead Winter Soldier issues that the movie draws from. And I'm dying of feels, most of which I flail about over on tumblr. That character has shattered every ventricle of my heart. :((((
Cap: Bucko, thats mud on his shoes, not chocolate.
Bucky: *lick, lick, lick*
Part of me is laughing and part of me is "Oh no, they wiped him so hard he can't tell the difference between chocolate and *mud*."
*cries*
(You'll have to excuse me, but I've been reading a ton of meta over at tumblr and I'm all up in my feels at the moment...)
Wel poor Bucko is a bit addled between Hydra and your daughter. LOL
Hydra and AIM were Marvel's recurring baddies back then. Aim was the most deadly, but Hydra was always good for some madman with a lot of explosives. LOL
Cap was getting pretty bad; a stereotype of what people THOUGHT WW2 and soldiering and live were like. I think the revamped Cap we're seeing is much better; and certainly captures his Patriotism without the Jingoism to go with it.
I look forward to the film. And never ever ever! need ye apologize for feels my dear. I read Bee's blog about Bucky/friendship. Yeah, she's got it. :)

Bee? Bee's blog about Bucky/friendship???? Who is this Bee of which you speak and where can I read???

The Marvel Cinematic Universe really has gone all-in with Hydra as the baddy. It's... everywhere. Mua ha ha!
My copy of Captain America: The Red Menace by Brubaker arrived today. I intend to bury myself in it for an hour or so this afternoon. I swear I feel like a 9 y/o again, back when I lived to go to the comic book rack at the grocery store.
Bee; Bee in my bonnet. You had the link on Tumblr. Silly. LOL
Feeling like a teenager (or 9 year old in your case) is when I saw Thor for the first time. That movie rocked me so hard! Not that I did not enjoy the Iron Man films, but Thor and then Avengers brought back sooooo many memories and things I used to think about instead of burying my head in homework, especially religion class. hahaha. How I managed to graduate is still a mystery.
Ah, okay. Didn't realize you looked at my tumblr, I guess?
That and when I reblog things, a lot of times I have a hard time figuring out who made the original post and who reblogged it to the point where I finally saw it! I'm still figuring out tumblr, obviously.
Hee ... I remember one time getting grounded not from television but from reading comic books because I got a bad grade. LOL
I like the fact that Aragorn like in the Prancing Pony scene just hides in his hood, smokes his pipe whilst secretly observing Cap's and Bucky's shenanigans.
If you ever get a chance to watch the first Captain America film and the second one that just came out, I encourage you to do just that. Wonderful stuff, especially the second film, which really builds on the foundation of the first film in terms of Bucky & Cap's friendship and the... turn... it takes. I won't be more spoilery than that, but suffice to say that, at least over on tumblr, the Winter Soldier has ovaries exploding everywhere. LOL
