Between great dialogue, incredible music and fabulous acting, TTT became a favorite film for me. (It even helped me to appreciate it as a book!)
It helps me with the book a little, too, but I still struggle sometimes to get through TTT (book). I'm not sure why, but it could be because I'm still smarting (or even grieving) over the collapse of the Fellowship and maybe because it's always hard to picture exactly what's happening with the battle of Helm's Deep--the visual of the movie is much easier for me to follow than Tolkien's descriptions. I have the same trouble with the Battle of Five Armies in TH, so I'm hoping PJ's vision for it helps me picture it better next time I read TH.
Seems no matter the situation or the place, Aragorn brings estel with him. :)
Elrond or Gilraen or both of them did so well choosing that name for him.
