He really does, and yet there's such a resolute light in his eyes at the same time, as if he has finally seen that there's no good end for any of this, but he will nonetheless go on anyway, because to *not* go on is unacceptable.
It's actually my very favorite shot of him (as if you couldn't tell from my LJ & DW headers! LOL)
