Tsk tsk! Make sure you do your walkies so you stay strong! And I'm doing all right, thank you for asking. Having a bit of a "down" day today, more sore etc, because yesterday was a "good" day and of course, I probably did more than I should (but drat it, it felt good to get out for dinner and walk around a store!!)

I do wonder how that trip to Rivendell might have gone had Gandalf not got himself... delayed. I guess it'd be the same, but with a cranky wizard adding to the fun.

It might make an interesting AU, although possibly a disastrous one. The effect of Frodo probably not being injured at Weathertop might not be too much, but not knowing that Saruman has definitely turned evil might well be catastrophic... (unless Gandalf escapes from Isengard in time to meet the Hobbits in Bree, or defeats Saruman in a confrontation - unlikely, since he's still the Grey)
