So glad I could raise an insane giggle! It's just that on my last optician's visit, he made me hold up a card just like Aragorn is doing with his Anduril (for want of a card with A B C written on it!) and pronounced that I had astigmatism!!!

Considering I've lived with DOUBLE astigmatism for all my days...like double double vision and I can see FOUR MOONS - so you can undertand why I am somewhat lunatic at times! FOUR! But aaahaah I shall take up Ophthalmology and go and examine darling Hero's eyes... closely, closely, a little MORE CLOSELY -- aaahhhh and breathe in --aaaaahhh and now out aaaaah...

Poor Aragorn...!!!! I might get to rub noses with that exquisite projection of his! aaaah aaaaah...

So basically you're saying that if you take your glasses off, you can see FOUR ARAGORNS where the rest of us mere mortals only see one??? *g* (I have astigmatism, too, but nothing near that bad... I barely notice it because I'm so nearsighted it's all just one big blur anyway without my glasses.)

It's not so bad close up... but for driving I have to wear specs. I think after all this time the brain has got accustomed to seeing four and picks on just one to work with. My left eye I can feel pull inwards as well. god - a wandering ee' to see the darkest deeds of thee! heheh.

No, Unfortunately close to... and I would be VERY close to Aragorn.heh heh;... I only see one. But four? that would overload the system! and I'd be all over the place like a mad Catherine wheel.
