Yep. He should have no trouble learning the subtleties of modern-day stuff. He just needs a little training, which I'm sure we would all be more than willing to give.
We probably should pull Aragorn aside and explain the modern day concept of sarcasm... I'm sure he'll catch on really quick, since he's an expert and 3rd Age sarcasm. *g*
