You know, I actually got to try some mate the other day at the new tea shop in our local shopping mall. It was very good!

Like a strongish Green Tea... we have masses of choice here...but I've yet to be able to BUY it to make it! I'll drink that or Sean's Builder's tea! NOT teabag wetness.

I'm more of a coffee drinker, in general, though there's times when nothing beats a strong cup of tea. :)

Yerba Mate? is that what you're talking about?

Years ago I had some for my heart. Can't recall what it tasted like; I used to put some in cold and flu herbals for "customers" to help with congestion and related heart problems. hmmmm

Must see if Tea Cozy has any stashed away, now that you mention it. :)

Yes... all mate, from what I've read, is from the same plant, Ilex paraguariensis, which is in the holly family. In some nations it's called yerba mate and others just mate. This was labeled "mate" (and there's supposed to be accent on the e but I'm too lazy to look up the code to do that...)

Taste-wise, it was just sort of tea-y, I suppose, more like green tea than black (like Blue said). Fresh tasting, and this blend had a bit of added cinnamon. Really quite good... although I still prefer a strong cup of coffee. LOL

Once again, King of All He Surveys, even if it IS a messy battlefield.

I liked that scene; he's been fighting like a demon and then, up for a breath only to discover his "army" has levelled the field. LOL

Fighting like a demon indeed... but then I suppose you'd have to, with all that opposing you and yours. I liked how we never really saw Aragorn much, mostly as flashes of Ranger whipping past in the background, until the fighting was all over.

No, he doesn't look quite ready to sheath that sword.
