Well, due to extenuating RL circumstances, I didn't get a chance to do any writing for B2MeM, but... I have done a little reading/reviewing throughout the month (mostly of [livejournal.com profile] lindahoyland's for now, but there's a  lot of other authors' and artists' works I need to catch up on). And because today I read her excellent "Brothers of the Tribe", I claimed my Reading Week shiney:

Back to Middle-earth Month 2013

Though I haven't written anything yet, I've read the prompts each day and squirreled away several because they've niggled loose some ideas for stories (and believe me, after all this time without having time or mental energy to write, I'm pretty much squirming and whining like a puppy dog at the thought of being able to sit before the keyboard and scribble down words... patience, patience.... it will be belated, but it will happen, eventually!)

You know, even in the midst of the crises, I still wanted to write... it was a comfort to think about story ideas, actually. So I'm more than ready to start writing, but still busy with a myriad of details. But soon!

I'm keeping all my fingers crossed you'll soon have the time of your life sitting before the keyboard writing away to your little red organ's content.

I'm very much looking forward to that moment when it finally arrives!

Thank you for your kind words about my story.Marta has written some especially good stories this year as has Alma Heart. Sadly there haven't been many Aragorn stories. A big thank you for all your support during this challenge especially at such a difficult time for you.Hugs. I'm delighted to hear you feel like writing.

Alas, no, there weren't many Aragorn stories... the prompts didn't really lend themselves to them, or at least it seemed that way to me (or, more likely, my brain was just too tired to figure out how to make connect them. Aragorn does after all connect to everything in Middle-earth, even 1st Age Elven lore. But it's harder to connect Aragorn with Fëanor than Frodo!). You did a good job of finding ways to write Aragorn with them.

A big thank you for all your support during this challenge especially at such a difficult time for you.Hugs. I'm delighted to hear you feel like writing.

*hugs* You're certainly welcome, and I'm glad I still feel like writing, too. Just need to find the time now, which will come eventually.
