I think over the years I've posted every possible screen shot of Aragorn, plus publicity stills, so yes, go ahead and hire someone to take care of your daily chores, because I fear you'll be melty goo a *lot*. :D
I can't really imagine anyone but Viggo as Aragorn. He was perfect for the role. And to think it almost never happened! No, never mind--best not to think about that...
There are times in this crazy world when the right things happen. It was just something - some extraordinary chance that made the world turn on a smooth axle. I am amazed that Viggo was chosen from so far away, and it was Henry his son who persuaded him to take it on, and he hadn't read the book...and and and... so many chances that could NOT have happened... but oh lord.. Bless whoever organises this sort of thing. Oh BLESS.
I don't know about you, but Strider has always been my hero..when I first read it, waaay back when it first came out - Viggo WAS that Strider. And Viggo was - just seven - when the Book came out?
TO WORK... I must be strong... sit the Ranger in a corner with his pipeweed and get on and do the washing and sweeping..etc. teehee.
