You know, sometimes I think about, if Aragorn were a real person in real life instead of Numenorean and likely immune to a lot of the health problems of more ordinary men, how crippled up Aragorn would likely be in his old age. Scary!

Having read comments as well, must remark:

This is the SAME guy who jumped off walls, into spear carrying Uruks and orcs, with nothing more to protect his assets than chain mail and leather.

Either he is very very lucky, or that little bit of divine he inherited from his great great granny Melian, makes him invulnerable!
