I think he's very happy indeed to see the weekend around the corner, especially as it includes Bilbo's and Frodo's birthday bash, which is sure to have food of special magnificence!
I wish there'd been a few more happy, sunny moments like this, though of course, the story just doesn't lend itself to a lot of sunny Aragorn, at least until the end, and I don't guess most people would have stuck around for, oh, 30 more minutes of happy King Elessar! (I sure would have, though!)
