The first trailer for Viggo Mortensen's Argentinean movie, Todos Tenemos Un Plan (Everyone Has A Plan), was released today.  The plot basically is about a man who leaves his life to take on the life of his twin brother, who was involved in some very shady business.  I'll have to watch this trailer a ton (what a chore) in order to work out the Spanish (oh, why didn't I keep up with my Spanish after college??  Why???), but even without full understanding, it looks really intriguing... especially this shot--not sure if he's the good brother or the bad brother here, but either way, wow... I would *not* want anyone looking at me like that!!

Watch the trailer here if you're interested.  Two Viggos in some scenes! *flails*

Great trailer. Loved it. I'm lucky because since it's an Argentinian movie there's a great chance it will be released here soon.

I wish you would. No need to worry about booking a room at hotel either.

Oh, wouldn't it be nice to be able to just jump in a plane and head your way! But I best wait for the subtitled version... otherwise you'd have to translate for me as we watched and I bet everyone around us would be very annoyed! LOL

I didn't think about that, but we could always go early in the afternoon when there aren't too many people at the theater. *g*

Goodness, how many languages does this man speak?

Many! LOL He's fluent in English, Spanish, and Danish, and can hold his own in Italian and French, and apparently has some skill with Norwegian and Swedish. Just one of those people that have a gift for languages, I guess!

Call me crazy, but I really wouldn't mind that look. Maybe it's just the one looking.... oh my

Well, I can't be sure, but in context of the scene... I don't think you'd want to be on the receiving end!

But just looking at the photo without context... yeah, I see what you mean. *g*

Interesting.

It might pop up in an arty filmhouse here; if not...

With it being a division of a major studio producing it, it *might* come to our art filmhouse. I'll keep an eye out but I imagine I'll have to wait for the DVD.

I'll probably get the DVD eventually, but I'd like to see it first to know if it's worth it *g*

Movie tickets are so pricey here that it's really not a huge risk to buy a DVD.

I expect the DVD to be about twice ticket price, so it's worth going out to see it first (and a nice evening out).

I hope you get to! I doubt it will show here in my city, if it even gets released in the US (highly doubtful).

So far, IMDB is showing release dates for Argentina and Denmark only. I hope that changes, because while Copenhagen is a very nice city, it's a bit far to go just to watch a Spanish language film with Danish subtitles *g*

LOL... yeah, that's kinda how I feel about it possibly showing in Brazil. It'd be a Spanish film with Portuguese subtitles. Not really helpful, and that's a loooooooooong flight!

On the other hand, I'd be in Brazil, visiting with estelcontar!

Looks interesting but I suspect you would need to speak Spanish to get the best out of it.

Well, yes, that would be optimal but with subtitles you can still get a pretty fair level of enjoyment out of a film (like, for example, "Alatriste"). I'm looking forward to seeing it even that way.
