Our security camera system seems to be stuck in "disarmed" mode and no amount of pounding on my phone screen with my index fingers seems to turn it back on. :/ I've done the restart/update/uninstall/reinstall bit and still nothing. Something for hubby to sort, I guess.
He is currently off to the home improvement store for a grounding cable for Dishy and the to the grocery store(s) for food. I suspect as soon as he has the groceries offloaded from his car, he'll be clambering up to the roof to get things installed. Who knows, by evening, our Internet might be so fast I'll be able to read your posts before you've written them. *g*
Boomer was a wild child this morning, probably full of joie de vivre at being alive after his harrowing Grooming Appointment. He looks very smart, though:
We finished watching WandaVision last night. Such an affective, and effective, finale. I love how the Disney+ series have the time to really dig into character development. Next up is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (in two weeks!!! *flails*) and from all I've heard, Bucky is finally getting a deeper treatment, as it will go into how he's learning to cope with life post-*all the awful everything*. We're also going to get a full backstory on Sam Wilson. I am going to be one happy camper. *g* The only downside is that it will only be 6 episodes, but they're all 50-60 minutes (whereas some of the earlier WV were only 30, so it's actually got a longer total runtime than WV.)
Dink got another grad school acceptance! This time the University of Florida/Gainesville, which has been her top choice from the outset, even though Clemson is a very close 2nd. She was very excited, but also kind of sorry that she now faces a difficult choice. A part of her was hoping Clemson would be the only school and she wouldn't be forced to choose. Ah, an embarrassment of riches, poor kid. Must be rough. XD
Happy Saturday, all.
