Thankfulness meme
Jan. 12th, 2013 04:38 pmEveryone on my Flist! I know that's a little bit of a cheat, using "everyone", but it's very true. I'm so thankful to all the friends I've made here at LJ. I love your variety and your talents and your encouragement, and how we can celebrate the things we have in common and appreciate our differences. *hugs to all*
Elladan and Elrohir - for being such good brothers to Aragorn. *g*
Elrond - for being such a good father to his family, to the chieftains he's fostered, and really to all of Middle-earth. He's such a hospitable fellow, and so compassionate.
And all the other E folks in Tolkien's legendarium. Seems like if your name starts with an E, you're in good company. But I've a real soft spot for Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir.
Effervescent personalities, the kind of which my friends here possess. I'm so thankful for positive, happy folks whose posts always make me smile.
Eggs! Like Elladan in my universe, I love eggs. They're such a good, tasty, nutritious food, and easy to fix.
Eagles - their soaring majesty never fails to move me.
Estel - you knew I'd figure out a way to work Aragorn into any thankfulness meme. *g* I can't imagine a literary world without Aragorn. I have had soooooooo much fun writing stories featuring him, and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
There's probably some more "E" things I'm forgetting but that's a pretty good list right there. Anyone who wants a letter, please ask!
From
bluegerl The BBC thinks you will have read 6 of the books on this list. Copy and
paste your bolded books read, italicized books not completed, and then
sum up with a head count, so to speak.
( Listing these mostly to see for myself what I still need to read! )
