SSP: Mr. Fix It updates...

I haven't posted each update notice here because I figure anyone here who's interested probably has already subscribed to my stories either on Ao3 or ff.net. But in case not, Mr. Fix It is up to five chapters now.
Captain America: Civil War will (FINALLY) open in the US this weekend, and I'm very curious how it may affect the direction of my story. Some of my Bucky Barnes gapfilling seem to be uncannily matching up with things that I later hear Sebastian Stan say about about Bucky's state of mind and what he's been up to since CA:TWS, but other things look to be completely AU.
Speaking of what he says about the character, Sebastian has a lovely habit of leaving nuggets of meta gold on fans' IG posts....
He's told us about what's in Bucky's backpack:
"In his backpack there are a dozen notebooks that compose the scattered memories dating back to as far as he can remember which somewhat piece together a scattered life. In a similar way to Alzheimer's, he's written things down, for fear of losing his memory again ... He was prepared, were something to happen, to walk away with nothing but that backpack, which is why it's the only thing he takes and knowing full well that not everything those pages contain is pretty."
And just yesterday he answered a fan's question about whether Bucky realizes he's not responsible for the Winter Soldier's actions while under the control of HYDRA:
"He understands his circumstances but it doesn't make him feel less responsible. The horror lies in feeling helpless. It's as you wake up from a nightmare, and you have that brief moment of relief as you understand you were just dreaming, but then you realize it actually happened. You just couldn't stop it."
;_;
(That quote is so consistent with Bucky Barnes in the comics, who tells the reader that he knew what the Soldier was doing, but could only watch helplessly, powerless to stop. In the comics, Bucky Barnes' driving purpose in life is to try to atone for all the things he did as the Winter Soldier. He knows he can't possibly make amends, but he tries his best anyway.)
I've never known of any actor just randomly dropping meta straight to the fans at any given time like that, but he seems very protective and absolutely invested in Bucky Barnes (so much so that people are starting to wonder under what pseudonym he's posting his fanfic).
I saw him on Good Morning, America yesterday and the interviewer started her question with, "We see how many people the Winter Soldier has killed..." and the look he gave her!

He growled a sort of questioning, "Right...." and then quickly added that Bucky's "just trying to stay alive" (in CA:CW), but you know he was thinking, "Wait... what... of all the things that go on with this character, that's what you're going to focus on?? I got up at o-dark-thirty and put on a suit and tie for yet another 'Bucky is a villain' slant?" (It probably didn't help that the interviewer also said that this was the third time he'd played the Winter Soldier--um, no, he'll have played the Winter Soldier twice, but in all three movies, he's played Bucky Barnes. It's a subtle but important distinction that Seb was gracious not to nitpick her about.)
I think during this entire press junket, Seb has been waiting for an intelligent, informed interviewer to show up so he can really get into the nuances of the character (comic book website interviewers are soooo much better at asking the deep questions). Maybe that's what drives him to drop meta straight to the fans instead.
It's been fun to watch how, over the last 2 years, he's gotten progressively more open with his disgust when someone refers to Bucky simply as a villain. He's said that Bucky isn't a good guy, but he does heroic things.
Bucky Barnes would agree with that 100%.
