cairistionaI've been whining about the weather enough, so it's only fair I now give it praise where praise is due: today it's warm and pleasant, the perfect spring day, around 72F. Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. Of course, by Wednesday we'll get snow, so... yeah. It's still fickle, this weather of ours.
I finished my B2MeM fic. It wasn't due until March 19, so I kind of wonder if I forgot something. I am usually one to submit something the last possible second before a deadline, so finishing it 9 days early feels very unsettling! I hope I managed to post it correctly, but if not, I'm sure the mods will let me know.
Now my time is freed up to help out with beta work and to return to Bowen Rushlight's story. I'm currently going through all the finished chapters and re-familiarizing myself with the story and events in canon that take place at the same time. It worked out well that the idea I had for my B2MeM fell in the same time period, so I'm still very much in that "midst of the Ring War" frame of mind. I just have to jump back to the North after writing about events in the south.
Other news, of a more personal bent: I'm now finished with the "expansion" part of breast reconstruction and am scheduled 5 May for the surgery to remove the expanders and place the implants. I cannot WAIT for that to be over, as the expanders are very uncomfortable. I've been fortunate that any pain they cause is fairly easily remedied with muscle relaxers and ibuprofen, but they're still just weird and hard and I'll be glad to see the last of them. :P
