A quiet Sunday evening...

It's been a lovely fall day today. I took a walk with the camera and came upon some pretty little wildflowers. I hope that everyone's had a lovely weekend. :)

I've had a relaxing day, too. Thank you for sharing the sweet blooms.

Sundays should always be relaxing, to my mind. :) Glad you had a good day!

Nice! :)
Looks like daisy, but it's not?

Thank you!

It's a type of aster called white heath aster or frost aster, much smaller than daisies. This is almost a macro close-up so it's hard to tell, but the blooms are only about a half-inch (a little over a centimeter) across.

What pretty flowers!

Thank you! They're blooming in abundance along the roadsides now.

What a pretty picture. This is a rather nice time of year all round, really.

Thank you! I do love autumn and especially October, even though I'm not particularly fond of what comes after.

A++++ photo. That's just amazing.

Thank you! The original wasn't at all A++++, as it was a little bit overexposed, so this shows the power of post-photo editing. LOL

Lovely little blossoms. Asters are so sweet; their scent though... pure green! hahaha

Hope your fall is going better than ours out here; we're headed for summer weather again. WTheck?

You're right... asters do smell green! LOL

Our fall is settling in very nicely, which is surprising given how awful the summer was for heat and drought. We started to get rain again just in time to save the fall colors, if not the last cutting of hay. If the warm weather holds for a couple more weeks, farmers *might* eke out a cutting. Remains to be seen. The ponds are still low, but the water table has come up so the wells aren't at as much risk. So, yes... not a bad autumn here.

They look sooooooooooooooo beautiful. I love daisies, and even if the aster are smaller versions, they look as pretty.

Bring on photo-editing if gives us such exquisite photos.

Thank you! I do enjoy photo-editing, though I also like the idea of taking them "as is" and showing the moment as I saw it through the lens. But editing is a great way to salvage bad photos. *g*

I do like asters a lot, especially the purple ones that grow wild here in the autumn.
