cairistiona | Waiting on Everett Hitch...

This is what happens when you're waiting for the Appaloosa movie to come out and they haven't even released a dadgum trailer yet, and when you're 118th on the library list for the next Everett Hitch novel and you're in desperate need of a Viggo-in-a-new-Western fix.

I've had Photoshop on my computer for quite some time now and I've been too intimidated by it to actually do anything with it. But yesterday I decided to play around a bit. I was going for the "unearthed a picture of Everett Hitch from Great Great Grandpa's attic" and I think it came out fairly well. Heaven knows how I actually did it or if I could ever be able to replicate it--Photoshop doesn't seem to be the most intuitive program and although I sort of understood what I was doing, there was a lot more that I didn't really "get" but managed only by blindly following directions in one of my equally-incomprehensible Photoshop how-to books.

I really hope the movie comes out soon ... and those 117 people who have Resolution in their hot little hands read fast. Photoshopping Viggo is fun, but seeing him as Everett Hitch will be a whole lot more fun.
