Saturday...
Programming note:
Usually I take the weekend off from posting Aragorn's journey, but we're so close to the end, I don't want to stop. And, er, starting next Thursday, July 8, Aragorn-a-day will go on hiatus for about 10 days, as we're going on a family vacation. I'll have the laptop with me and will be in touch as time allows, but I think I'll be taking a break from posting during that time. Much as I've enjoyed putting together the Aragorn's journey posts, they do take a lot of time gathering them together and making sure I get them in order and choose the best representations of each scene. It will feel nice to take a short break to recharge my batteries.
I hope we reach journey's end by Thursday... I haven't actually looked ahead toward how to split up the upcoming battle at the Black Gates and then the coronation scene, but I think I'll be able to get it posted in 4 days. If not, then, eek, I suppose the closing scenes will have to wait until I get back.
In the meantime, onward:
