My daughter had 2 wisdom teeth extracted this morning so I'm a bit taken up with fetching and carrying and ice packs etc. So no adventures today or perhaps a few days, but I'm sure we'll get back to it when she's feeling better again and is up and about messing with them. :)

In the meantime, how about eye candy from the movie, from the tumblrs...

Thank you, Linda! She's doing okay--as in "progressing without complication", though she's swollen and very sore and all that. :(

I remember getting mine out as well. She's just had her two lower ones removed (hopefully the uppers won't ever cause trouble and so can stay put). I had to have all four of mine removed, plus I've had four other pre-molars removed because I have a small mouth and too many teeth. :/ That was all about 25 years back and methods of removal have improved but it's still just a wretched thing to go through.

I love how with LJ it squishes it all together into one image. On tumblr it's 4 images stacked (and technically, it is here, too, but if you don't put spaces between the code for each section, it's all one big, lovely Cap!)

Oh, poor her, that's never fun! *hugs gently and sends Captain America-shaped ice-pack* My wisdom teeth brought me into contact with homoeopathy because it was pure horror and everything inflamed badly with the first two; but while they needed to be extracted they were still inside the jawbone, and the surgeon was skilled, but a true "sawbones". Thankfully, the teeth I lost later were done by a much more skilled surgeon, and it was much easier and healed soon. I hope your girl is having it over very soon!

She's improving bit by bit each day, thankfully. Nibbled at bacon and pizza today so I'm thinking full recovery can't be too far away!

Indeed, if interest for such food is re-established, it's a truly good sign.

Yes, it was horrible, I was nearly four weeks sick the first time. The second time, six months later, it started the same, and I was so miserable I finally took those little white globuli my aunt wanted me to take, despite my complete refusal to believe in their virtue. They helped so thoroughly and quickly, I was completely baffled, and willingly tried homoeopathy for anything from then on.

Ouch! She had two taken out? I remember getting impacted wisdom tooth when I was about 18 or 19, and then the extraction omg. I hope she's feeling better by now.

Yeah, it's not fun, is it. I had all four taken out when I was about 22, I guess? But she's doing all right, all things considered. Improving a wee bit every day.
